Soft light emerges from a quiet landscape of layered glass, where smoky grays, gentle lavender, pale blue, and warm gold come together in a composition that feels both balanced and serene. Raised glass elements create depth and shifting reflections, inviting the eye to slow down and discover new details from every angle.
Part of my Glasscapes series, Where Light Finds Stillness explores the places where architecture and atmosphere meet—those quiet moments when light softens the edges of the world and everything seems to pause. Each piece is created through multiple kiln firings and incorporates individually cut, painted, and layered glass elements. The sculpture is mounted on a hand-painted wood panel with a coordinating fused glass accent on the side, making it just as engaging when viewed from an angle as it is from the front.
Whether displayed on its own or alongside other works in the Glasscapes series, Where Light Finds Stillness brings a sense of calm, depth, and quiet elegance to a contemporary space.
