The Shape of Home is a mid-century inspired fused glass piece built with layered geometric forms, soft architectural lines, and dimensional texture. The combination of teal, amber, grey, and warm white creates a calm, modern palette while the raised glass elements add depth and movement across the surface.
I wanted this piece to feel structured but still personal — like collected moments, memories, and spaces coming together over time. The small details reveal themselves slowly the closer you get, giving the work a quiet sense of connection and balance.
I added a glass "tattoo" design on the whitewashed side of the wood panel which mimics the front and adds interest. This fused glass artwork is 24" x 6"x 2"and is ready to hang.
