There are things we carry with us that aren't always visible—memories, moments, connections, and small pieces of experience that quietly become part of who we are.
The Quiet Things We Carry combines layers of textured and dimensional fused glass with hand-drawn lines and subtle shifts of color. Soft greens, warm peach and amber tones, and touches of red and blue create a calm, luminous background, while the dimensional glass pieces gathered through the center add depth and movement.
The composition feels both structured and organic, with individual elements coming together to create something greater than the parts themselves. A small, hand-painted “tattoo” on the side of the piece carries the same visual language as the marks on the glass, extending the artwork beyond the front surface and adding an unexpected detail to discover. Like many pieces in the Glasscapes series, this work is about finding beauty in the layers—what we experience, what stays with us, and what quietly shapes our journey.
