Interstice is a small dimensional textured fused glass assemblage built around the tension between structure and open space. A warm field of orange and amber provides the ground for intersecting black lines and a collection of layered geometric forms, creating a composition that feels both carefully ordered and delightfully unpredictable.
A piece of gold glass stands on edge, catching light and creating a subtle interruption between the elements around it. The dimensional forms extend outward from the surface, giving the work a sense of movement and depth that changes as it is viewed from different angles. A small, tattoo-like glass tile on the side becomes a quiet signature within the piece — an unexpected detail that rewards a closer look.
Compact in size but rich in texture and visual layers, Interstice explores the spaces between things: between solid and transparent, order and spontaneity, surface and dimension.
