Held in Gentle Balance explores the quiet relationship between structure and ease. Soft, rounded forms interlock across the surface in a mid-century inspired composition, where color and shape feel both intentional and relaxed. A pastel palette of teal, blush, yellow, and muted neutrals creates a sense of lightness, while subtle texture and raised elements add depth and movement.
Though grounded in geometry, the piece resists rigidity—edges soften, forms overlap, and space is allowed to breathe. The result is a composition that feels stable yet fluid, where nothing dominates and everything finds its place.
This work brings a calm, modern presence—ideal for spaces that value simplicity, warmth, and thoughtful design.
I added a glass "tattoo" design on the whitewashed side of the wood panel which mimics the front and adds interest. This fused glass artwork is 24" x 6"x 2"and is ready to hang.
