A Current of Color is a textured fused glass piece exploring movement through layered pattern, curved forms, and strong color relationships. Bright sections of yellow, blue, green, and orange move through the composition while raised glass elements add texture and dimension.
This series allows me to work more intuitively and respond to the interaction between shape, line, and color as each piece develops. I like that this one feels active and playful while still maintaining a sense of balance.
Mounted in a satin black floating frame and ready to display.
I added my signature glass "tattoo" design on the side of the frame which mimics the front and adds interest.
