This piece has gone thru so many layers. It began about 2010 as another "Underway" painting that was not successful. Painted over it for invitational exhibit at Charles Taylor Gallery in Hampton, VA (2009) where the pieces juried in were paired with a florist who created flower arrangement to match the composition. I painted over it again to arrive at current composition which was inspired by an image I saved on Pinterest by Dan McCaw.
