Inspired by and reimagined Helen Frankenthaler's painting "Spiritualist." I originally titled this "Murdering Helen Frankenthaler" b/c my piece is no comparison to her masterpiece but I changed the name because "murdering" conjures up evil, negative imagery. Also, I believe my piece is a lovely homage to one of my favorite CoLorField painters and I hope she would be pleased. RIP Joan.
