Self-portrait inspired. Anjuschka
This limited edition screen print, a self portrait is titled “Anjuschka,” (my name in Russian) that my cousin Walter called me. Each of the striped colors was printed individually and some overlap creating new colors. The lines are neither symmetric nor “straight” which is no accident of carelessness; rather, represents how much i love and admire the imperfect in nature, in myself. There are no “mistakes” in nature or in aRt and all “imperfections” in my aRt are intentional. The new colors born of the “accidental” mingling are even more beautiful than the “pure” colors.
