Almost every day, a Great Blue Heron crosses the sky above Main Street, gliding from Eagle Creek toward the west. For just a few moments, the bustle of the day seems to pause as I watch its quiet, deliberate flight. It has become a familiar companion to my days in the studio and a gentle reminder that beauty often reveals itself in the simplest of routines. This painting is a celebration of those fleeting moments. The luminous flowers and warm light create a dreamlike setting where grace, stillness, and wonder meet—a reminder that extraordinary things pass by us every day if we're willing to look up.
