Painted from the pomegranate trees in Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, France, this piece holds the weight of fruit that is both full and fragile—much like us. That Which We Are reflects the tension of being finite creatures who live with struggle and hope side by side. Bold outlines and color carry that truth in my cloisonnist style, making visible the fragile abundance at the heart of being human.
