This piece suggests a drifting, planktonic form suspended between states. It evokes an organism carried by unseen currents, gathering structure and potential as it develops. For me it is about being in-between - carried by forces we cannot see, while already containing the possibility of what comes next.
These wire, textile, gilding, paint, and patina works examine the relationship between structure and openness. They use crocheted and twisted wire to create a balance between voids and dense, intertwined forms that resemble networks. The viewer is invited to consider the forces that connect space, patterns, and organic flow into a unified whole.
