b. 1979

DEATH is a street artist from New York City. Growing up in New York City, she will be exposed to many different cultures and perspectives that will make her think and question everything she sees on the street. These experiences will later have a major influence on the decision of her artist name and on her artistic production.


DEATH chooses to remain anonymous, she believes that this gives her more freedom to continue working on the street. She strarted painting on the walls and floors of popular shops in the Soho and Chelsea area of New York City. It takes its name from DEATH, an abbreviation of “Don’t Easily Abandon The Hope”.
