About the artist

Nancy Gonzales

Nancy Gonzales is a Boston-based photographer, born and raised in the city. She began exploring photography as a way to help with her depression, but it soon became a career interest. Nancy enjoys experimenting with various photographic techniques to elevate her work. She has a unique ability to see everyday objects in a new light, creating distinct narratives that connect her deeply with her photography.In the future, Nancy hopes to become a war photographer, sharing diverse experiences and stories with the world.

When I take a photograph, I envision the final piece in my mind. I look at everyday objects that others might overlook and find a creative approach to capture them. The music I listen to while I work greatly influences the types of photos I take and how I edit them. I love exploring the city, striving to capture unique perspectives, especially in well-known areas.
