Takii was a teen painter at Artists for Humanity. He worked in the program for four years. The body of work he has produced connects to different experiences and opportunities that have shaped who he is today. Long days in the paint studio, surrounded by friends and teachers, influenced him to create the work he makes today.

A lot of the colors I use are shown throughout my body of work. I naturally limit myself to certain color palettes because I’m color blind. When I paint, I use earth tones throughout my pieces because they are the only colors I can really see. But I believe that's what sets my art apart. I show audiences and viewers the world I live in.
