Anjue Liang is a Boston based artist who joined Artists For Humanity (AFH) in 2021, in the midst of a pandemic. Liang’s artwork has been displayed at various AFH open studios and exhibitions and the majority of their work is currently in the AFH collection. The artist’s main mediums are acrylic paint, graphite pencil, or through digital software. Often inspired by popular media such as games, movies, and movements, much of the work incorporates heavy symbolism to deliver a composition. Animation is also a great influence on their art, and behind each painting is an unseen storyline for the subjects involved.
