Delila Montañez is a Boston-based artist that primarily works on portraiture. She has been working at Artists For Humanity since 2020 and graduated from Charlestown High School in 2024. She currently attends Curry College. Her goal is to brighten people’s faces and put more artwork out there with colors.
In my work, I focus on painting friends and family in my life as a way to express myself. Sharing these pieces with the world creates a warm, personal connection.. I use a fairly traditional composition, with a central figure, to give my subject as much visibility as possible.
