Created during a global pandemic, in the midst of a divisive time, this sculpture invites people to sit across from each other to talk and listen.
Initially used during wartime, a parabolic disc aimed toward the sky could warn of the enemy approaching before it was visible. These same forms facing each other, focal points aligned, allow a whisper to travel a great distance, creating conditions for active listening.
